Some of the comments made by the Announcer and Auctioneer regarding the 1939 Chevy coupe which was sold on the auction block at the 2003 Barrett Jackson event in Palm Beach, Florida.

Kidd Darrin's was founded in 1991. The goal then was to build innovative custom vehicles that not only reflected the customer's wishes but also were forward thinking and daring. The very name Kidd Darrin's was an embodiment of this premise. Yet in addition to thinking young and daring, the goal to build quality into everything we did was not to be compromised. Ever.

Cruising Around Our Website

We have tried to set up our website to make it easy and enjoyable for you to navigate. Our goal was to make it a simple process to find a particular point of interest quickly. To that end we have established what we call a “cumulative compilation” style Website.

What this means is that each Title Page (Featured Completed Cars, Cars Under Construction, Interesting Piece Work, etc.) is an overview of that particular stop on the Website. At the bottom of some of the Title Pages are additional pages (press NEXT PAGE button) that contain more photos and are a continuation of more and more details of a car, a project, etc. By continually clicking on each additional page you can choose to become more and more involved with a specific topic that interests you.

This also is a way to keep the download times of each page low to accommodate an array of internet connections, some whose download times would be excessive if we did not do this.

Please remember that when visiting any of the Title Pages to click on photos to see if there is a “click here for more photos” option. This is not always the case but most pages contain more info and photos.

And finally, understand that not all browsers are the same. Many photos, graphics, and sometimes type and quality will vary greatly as well as download time. Not all browsers will maintain the quality we have taken many hours and much effort to achieve in Microsoft Explorer 6.0

FAQ's about our Website.

Why is there not an E-mail address for your website?

A: Unlike many shops where the owner is not involved in the actual day to day workings of the cars being built, Cadillac Ken is a working owner. Initially we had an E-Mail address but the overwhelming number of inquiries was impossible to address. If you wish to contact us see our contact page for details.

Why do some of the photos and text look unclear or misaligned?

A: Not all browsers are created equal. While our website was designed in Microsoft FrontPage it doesn’t always look as good in some browsers as it does in Microsoft Explorer 6.0.

How often do you change the content of your website?

A: Some things will remain constant but we try to update and change “Cars Under Construction”, “Featured Completed Cars”, “Interesting Piece Work” among other Title Pages as soon as new things are completed. We try to include a new “My Articles” entry every month. We plan on adding a Catalog soon with no billet or run of the mill junk - keep and eye out there’s some cool stuff coming up!

Why is it I can download some photos and text but not others?

A: Most photos of the cars and text is property of Kidd Darrins Custom Cars and can be downloaded or printed. However, Magazine articles, and other articles are protected by copyright laws and cannot.
